Bay's Blind Box

I used pixlr to get an animated look I was going for. I drew an outline on paper first and then scanned it to my computer to trace it and color it on pixlr. This piece was inspired by Takashi Murakami who often makes pieces with multiple repeating elements taking up the full expanse of the canvas. In this piece I wanted to experiment with digital drawing and find a way to animate myself within it. This piece contributes to my sustained investigation because this piece explores self expression and how to value the things I already have by choosing what I already have over something new.
